How Much Is My Rolex Worth in 2026? Current Resale Prices by Reference

The first question every Rolex owner asks when thinking about selling: what is it actually worth? This guide gives you current 2026 secondary market ranges for the most-traded Rolex references, explains the four factors that move value, and shows you how Miami pricing compares to other markets.

Pricing in this guide reflects June 2026 dealer wholesale ranges. The exact figure for your specific watch depends on reference, condition, box and papers status, age, and current market sentiment for that reference. For an exact same-day offer, bring your watch to CJ William in Surfside or send photos via WhatsApp.

Top 10 Rolex References: 2026 Resale Ranges

The 4 Factors That Determine Your Rolex’s Value

1. Reference Number

The reference identifies the model, configuration, materials, and production era. Two watches that look similar can differ in price by $5,000 to $50,000 based on the reference. A Submariner 116610LN (black bezel, 2010-2020) and a 116610LV “Hulk” (green bezel, same era) are mechanically identical but the Hulk trades at a 50 to 80 percent premium because it was discontinued and is harder to source. See our Watch Reference Number Guide for the full breakdown of how to read Rolex references.

2. Condition

Four condition tiers determine percentage of the reference’s mint-condition range:

  • Mint (unworn or barely worn): 100% of range. Sharp factory edges, no marks, no polishing.
  • Excellent (light wear): 90-95% of range. Light wear consistent with limited use, no polishing, sharp lugs intact.
  • Good (normal wear): 75-85% of range. Standard wear, possible light polishing, case shape still defined.
  • Fair (heavy wear): 55-70% of range. Heavy wear, multiple polishes, soft case lines, possible dial damage.

3. Box, Papers, and Accessories

“Full set” means watch plus original box, warranty card (papers), hangtags, instructions, and accessories. A full set adds 8 to 15 percent to value. Partial sets add less:

  • Full set: +8-15%
  • Box only (no papers): +3-5%
  • Papers only (no box): +5-8%
  • Watch only: baseline
  • Service papers from authorized Rolex service center (no original papers): partially substitutes, especially on watches over 10 years old

4. Market Sentiment

For sought-after references (Daytona 126500LN, Hulk, Pepsi GMT, Batman GMT, Tiffany-dial pieces), market sentiment can shift the price 10 to 30 percent year to year independent of condition. Discontinued references with collector following appreciate over time. Production-currentRolex references with normal availability trade at a more stable range. Vintage references (5-digit refs from the 1970s and 1980s) have appreciated in 2025-2026 as collectors shift toward older examples.
